Big match-up tonight and one I'd really love to see the Knicks grab. I don't care if Jose can play, he's nursing a groin injury and couldn't defend Thomas at 100%, Galloway needs to start and play to contain the little guy at least. Got a couple more opponents that could be jockeying for playoff position coming up, so if AA and KP want to snap out of their funks it needs to be now. More than anything, Fish needs to stop benching RoLo with the upcoming schedule. The C's have mobile bigs, but I'd hope he's noticed that the mobile guys get KP into foul trouble so perhaps RoLo is a better match-up choice. I actually think KOQ in face up passing situations could really hurt these dudes tonight, especially if D-Will, Galloway and Lance are cutting hard off ball.

Agree on all points. We will learn a lot about the Knicks in the next week.

And it baffles me how RoLo gets so little playing time. IMO either KP or RoLo should be in the game at ALL times.

Some people on Twitter pointed out that the Warriors actually run a lot of triangle in their offense. The main difference between them and us is that they have multiple phases that they run continuously. With us, it seems as though we run phase 1 and transition into iso, they don't transition into another phase of the offense that flows well...
You got to move and you have to be able to pass up solid shots for great ones. We were great at this last year but suck at it this year. Personnel is every thing for this type of offense

I can see how the Warriors can destroy morale for an organization.

I mean damn, that team literally highlights every reason why they are successful and every reason why any team is not serious.

My takeaways from watching the game is that:

More so than any other team, you HAVE TO make it a priority to capitalize on every turnover that they make.

If anything is going to destroy their chemistry, if only for one game, it's getting them frustrated after turnovers; they turn over the ball at too high of a rate

Their offense is just fine, and it's been just fine for months. They don't have to average 115 points per game like the Warriors do, to win games. Plenty of teams win games without scoring 115. What NY needs, is to not give up 116. How anyone can talk about NY's offense after putting on 1 of the worst defensive performances of the season (from any team) is beyond me. NY's defense was trash the whole month of January and it was trash in the last game.

NY does move the ball (2nd in passes per game). Curry is 21st in iso fga's.

I don't think I shytted on the offense at all... Just said they run it better than we do. More dynamic.

I'm back on my main operating base tonight, hopefully they show the game on AFN. I see the record is not what I had hoped for at this point of the season, was hoping more along the lines of 26-24 or 27-23.

I looked at the game stats for the past few weeks. Glad my man Melo doing great and having all around great games. But wassup with AA? He plays one good game for every five bad games. KP looking like he hit a slump, hopefullu he can get out of it before we dig a deeper whole for the playoffs.

I wasn't saying you were speaking against it. I just thought you were saying offense cost NY the game. They do run it better — just about flawlessly. They also have more players that fit it perfectly than NY has. I think NY has about 4 players that fit it perfectly ('Melo, Arron, Rolo, and KP). Just about all of the GSW's fit it perfectly in 1 way or another.

The record was really hurt by recent injuries. Arron draws a lot of double and triple-teams. KP was killin' it before he caught a bad cold, from what I remember.

Man....:francis:

On another note all these suns, knicks, hawks, and Celtic rumors got me holding out hope that the knicks could get a 3 or 4 way trade to get Teague. The knicks need a decent PG

We've been putting :flabbynsick: at PG since Marbury who was so crazy he might as well been done.
