Draymond is a beast:wow:but dude finally got called for a moving screen last night :pachaha:

KP is learning about these different types of players he'LL be facing on a nightly basis. He will be ok

He and Bogut do set moving screens all the time that they rarely get called for.

I don't think KP will ever be able to guard Draymond because of his size and he shouldn't have to. Draymond is a mismatch for him. It's like asking KP to defend a guard. People that short will blow by KP every time. It's nothing new for bigs. Who was matched up against Draymond when KP was in foul trouble? I can't remember.

The whole damn teams sets moving screens...I think these refs get so enamored by Curry's dribbling and Klay's moving around that they dont stop to look at the other 3 guys on the floor setting moving picks with happy feets...and these aint 50/50 plays either like some wanna suggest...

That Klay 3 ball with the Iggy illegal screen happens alot and rarely gets called against them...

Tough to do player breakdowns when they just looked outmatched so much to me, just some observations:

. KP looked physically outmatched with Green, which'll happen till he gets his weight up. He's too big to keep up with speedy F's and the strong ones limit his ability to take advantage of their height. He looked gassed out there and wasn't moving well in the second half which is concerning since he'd sat a lot. But I'll chalk it up to the respiratory infection while observing more closely.

. AA can't keep vanishing like this. Klay really took advantage of him on both ends. He's gotta figure out ways to contribute to the team beyond just scoring, especially with his jumper being inconsistent. One benefit I'll give him though is that Klay really went off on all his defenders, even Lance couldn't slow him down much.

.Thought KOQ looked solid in his minutes, Lou looked awful, Sasha stays doing numbers when we're down 15 pts or more that'll get him burn in close games where he kills us, DWill played nice offense but made mental errors defensively that I don't like. Rest of the bench was closer to their typical output than anything.

. Thannasis has been a pleasant surprise in that he looks like he belongs (as much as an end of bench piece can at least). I'd be happy with him taking Sasha's minutes in an effort to have a bigger defensive/energy impact coming from the bench; especially since Sasha's output only happens when it doesn't matter.

. Interested to see how often teams will just let Melo get his and try to limit his passing impact. The W's made sure every single wing played an inefficient game. Melo got his, KP managed 14 pts on 8 attempts and no other key player really contributed points that made their attempts output valid. Melo's still laboring a lil bit, if he gets back to pre-ankle (hopefully soon) then I don't think that's a viable strategy.

. Not sure why Fish is back to not trusting RoLo; but another game with limited minutes for him when he was productive in his time out there.

. That was a top notch team with a playstyle tailor made to kill us. We get murdered by repeat pick and roll attacks and their whole offense is based on multiple pick/screen and rolls until something opens up. That sort of motion is too much for our perimeter defenders.

. Shout out to Galloway defensively. Curry missed a few that he normally makes, but LG limited the wide open ones and made Curry work. That's all you ask for from a defender and if Galloway isn't contesting somewhat, Steph isn't that inefficient.

. I ain't taking a moral victory from this one. They got outclassed and the guys who should take weight off of Melo really didn't show up when he needed 'em. The defense is susceptible to that kind of attack and those guys are the best at it. Hopefully the 2 and 3 (AA and KP) step it up and learn from these types of L's. Melo was solid, most of the rest really weren't and guys seemed too comfortable taking that beating to me.

Real talk: Knicks need to bring back those orange alternates. :francis:

I thought they were dope and that year we were gonna suck regardless of the jersey we wore so dumping them because of some dumb superstitious reason was dumb as hell. :upsetfavre:
Them shyts is ugly, I cringe every time I see one:scust:

Some people on Twitter pointed out that the Warriors actually run a lot of triangle in their offense. The main difference between them and us is that they have multiple phases that they run continuously. With us, it seems as though we run phase 1 and transition into iso, they don't transition into another phase of the offense that flows well...
