Is Tijuana that bad to see for a day or to "party" at night?

Me and a bunch of my friends got robbed by the cops in Tijuana one time, but we went to the Hong long bar afterward so it was worth it

I was thinking about just going there during the day time. My black ass is not trying to be in Tijuana at night.

cartels aint going to do shyt to you man,especially if your black or white american cause you might be undercover d.e.a or something that's bad for business

And depending where you moving from, it will be a culture shock, nothing but Mexicans and the mexican culture everywhere, and i mean EVERYWHERE. but their food is great. good weather. sucks that the nightlife closes so early though. Great place to visit.

ive been there it wasnt a big deal. what time does everything close. here in pittsburgh its 2. once 2 rolls around here thats when im getting my second win and im like

when i was there we left the bar at 1 and drove to some guys house in la jolla and partied so i dont think i shut down a bar there

check the credentials... whatchu wanna know that hasnt already been said? the cost of living IS high but it's well worth it, and it doesnt have the congestion of LA, you won't feel too lost in the shuffle.

the job market is kinda shytty out here right now as well... but i guess that's everywhere tho, right?

places to go: pacific beach, gaslamp, mission/fashion valley, solana beach/del mar (SD fair time right now), barona/viejas indian res, college area, la mesa/mt. helix, tijuana (at your own risk if you REALLY wanna party)...

places to avoid: national city/southeast, vista/oceanside/escondido, east county (all of it), imperial beach, city heights, tijuana (lmao)... nothing there for outta towners.

City Heights isn't really bad like that anymore. Or at least it's nowhere near as bad as some of the other places you mentioned.

San Diego is a great place to live. I do know people that complain about there not being enough going on but I guess that just really depends on what you're into.

i could deal with it cant be less to do than pittsburgh. as long as their are broads who deserve my time then there is tons to do for me

Live in San Diego. Downtown, Beaches, Tijuana, La Jolla. What else do you need? I'm at the beach everyday in the summer, early fall. Parts of East County are ok, some really nice, but mostly, not somewhere I want to live. My boys Dad's house in Jamul is great though, like a country home or something. I can imagine living in other cities/countries, of course, but San Diego is it, and I just kinda take all of it for granted, I mean, people live where there aren't beaches?

With you on North County, as far as Escondido, Oceanside, Clairemont, Linda Vista, Mira Mesa, Kearney Mesa, Miramar, etc, Rancho Santa Fe and Del Mar on the other hand, very upscale.

East County, I mean there are nice houses everywhere, but I wouldn't want to live there anymore, but that doesn't mean it's all ugly and poor.
