The only reason I questioned this is because Drake has the same type of deal as DJ Khaled with Nike/Jordan brand and I doubt the contract is up that quick unless Adidas bought out drake and even then that really means Push effed up Adidas money because with that type of stuff around this nee line it would make people be like “hell naw Im not supporting Drake on that one”.

Pusha T realizes this is his last chance to be relevant in the music industry before fading into dust so he is throwing a Hail Mary by dissing Drake. The history is more about how Pusha T burned Bridges with cash money and then try to come back around and do tracks with the same people later.

A subplot that seems to be going on is Drake doing business with Adidas and then you just have that mentality of I'm going to be the only one doing business with Adidas. This is probably from Kanye which is why he is sponsoring and financing the diss to Drake. Why would you allow your artist to diss someone who was ghost riding for you and has supported you on a business level.

What do the players stand to gain here? 1f Drake's Adidas line flops Kanye will feel more secure but he brand 10 make money and if the battle goes Pusha T's way he will have a slight boost and Rejuvenation before falling back into nothing.

So in summary it's basically jealousy by two old haters

To be fair, so did Budden, Common, and especially Meek. It was never a battle about skill, we all know Drake isn't on that level, he admits he isn't on that level, so no one expected platinum bars from him, his skill lies in making a beat people can play in the club....and that ether's a dude's soul, hearing a catchy tune that gets spins, that also happens to be a diss. That's what Push needs to do, because Meek and everyone else kept it at bars.....huge mistake. Make it a club banger, and now you're on Drake's level.
