I dont believe the excuse either, but I also don't get the outrage to be honest. Black face is never cool, but at least he's black. Whatever the actual reason is he did it, there's 0% chance it was to mock black people. A 20 year old Black kid did something regrettable when he was young and dumb, call him out and move on. And I'm 100% Team Push, listening to Daytona as I type this...:manny:

Now if it was a white kid he would deserve the crucifixion :pacspit:
He's not

Drake stans in here bring up Pusha's drug dealing past?

I thought y'all said he never sold drugs?
Damn and now Drake can’t come back with that destroying the community angle either because he leaned on him being a fake drug dealer :ohhh:

Says the guy that has done absolutely nothing but sell poison to the community by glorifying drug dealing in every single song he’s ever recorded.

Get the fukk outta here.
Who in the HH community are you referring to?

Pusha gettin a little excited... biting off more than he can chew I think, trying to ride on the woke wave. I don't think he wants to go the black empowerment route :scumbag:

Sounds like he's calling out a uppity black flight attendant.

Especially his last statement referencing blackface.

Drake stans playing archaeologist now :skip:

Bruh, you just described like 80% of all people who get rich and make it. When you in the struggle, you more likely to run your mouth cause you got nothing to lose. But once them BIG checks start rolling in, most people's main concern becomes trying not to fukk it up. 15% of those rich people will donate to noble causes behind the scenes, but only about 5% are vocal about the real divisive issues in America. There's only so many Lebrons outs there. Even Michael Jordan never said shyt cause Republicans "bought sneakers too".

The world would be a better place if the people with the biggest platforms used them to speak on injustice, but it don't happen bruh :mjlol:

Nah, I disagree.

Drake's fan base is (or, was) basically like Em's fan base in his prime. They'd buy literally anything he puts out.

Drake can throw out random songs and they break streaming records. It wouldn't cost him a thing to drop some social commentary into a verse here and there.

He just chose not to. I'm not even saying he should have....but if he's selling this story of "oh, the blackface was to speak on XYZ issues" it seems disingenuous as fukk to get on and then never actually address any of that.

The only way he can sell this IG excuse is if his next album is on some Public Enemy shyt. Which is obviously never going to happen.

Fred.
