I don't think Drake can drop a better diss song than TSOA. At this point he should just get back to his album release. Unless c00nye has smoke for him on his album dropping tonight.

Drake can throw out random songs and they break streaming records. It wouldn't cost him a thing to drop some social commentary into a verse here and there.

He just chose not to. I'm not even saying he should have....but if he's selling this story of "oh, the blackface was to speak on XYZ issues" it seems disingenuous as fukk to get on and then never actually address any of that.

The only way he can sell this IG excuse is if his next album is on some Public Enemy shyt. Which is obviously never going to happen.

First off, fixed my post. That should have been a :mjcry: at the end

Anyway, you are not wrong. He absolutely should have spoken out on shyt throughout his career. It seems the only times he does is when his back is against the wall. There was some shyt that happened during the Meek shyt where he took a "timeout" to address some type of shooting I think it was. And he also had a lot of thoughtful shyt to say about muslims, only AFTER he got smoke for supposedly telling a girl to take over her scarf at a concert when it was a Hijab.

I'm just saying I can understand how he might have went from a 20 year old feeling a way thinking he ain't getting acting gigs cause he's black, to being a quiet corporate yes man getting crazy paid at 25-30. It ain't right, but I understand :yeshrug:
