Drake used a Pusha lyric for a photo caption, them dudes got over it and y'all are committed to defending him whenever Pusha is in the news for his music.

Y'all call his fans nerds (though you're on a message board), and claim he's only relevant in the booth like thecoli isn't one of the imminent places to talk about hip-hop on the internet.

The Song Maker and the SK 5
Since when do diss records need to make "impact" across music or revive or end careers?

The line is meant to poke fun about Wayne and Drake's contracts, which seems to have some merit looking back at it. The song is suppose to make Drake and Wayne upset when the heat it.

They laugh. Probably.

Nobody cares outside of some rap nerds. It had no impact on Drake's career and it's time for people to be honest. In 2001, Hov was a much bigger rapper than Nas. And yet you can literally trace the impact on Ether in terms of street reaction, Hov's reaction, RADIO reaction, etc. Not to mention it revived Nas' career commercially.

I'd argue the Meek thing hurt Drake more because at least he revealed something tangible - ghostwriting. Which should hurt Drake's reputation as an MC. What did Pusha hurt or damage?
nah ether didn't do any damage.. j continued to sell 2million plus albums back to back to back

stillmatci sold 2,179,000 god son 1,362,000...then street disciple a double album ..754,000

blueprint 2,711,000 blue print 2 2,117,000 then the black album sold 3,516,000

then jay became the nikka boss n he flopped every def jam album dropped
