Filler: Scrape it off

Very solid album. Give it a 4.0 out of 5. Kanye is totally washed as a rapper though, never wanna hear a feature from him again.

So far this year Cordae and Push. Wonder if there’s a reason behind both of those. It seemed like the Cordae feature was recorded but this one probably wasn’t.

Anyway this didn’t hit me on my initial couple of listens as I was distracted, but anytime I was truly engaged, I was in shyt is pure gas. Just been this, Blxst, Denzel and Nas on repeat for this year thus far.

Nas was also supposed to feature on the new Black Star album that's releasing on May 3rd, but he used his verse instead for KD1 (The Cure). Mos and Talib are more to blame here though, for taking too long to release the album.

Uzi can rap his ass off.

He's a much more traditional bars rapper than you'd expect. His last album was flames.

In terms of pure craft, I'm not sure there's anyone touching Push right now.

Every bar is just immaculately constructed and delivered perfectly. He uses multiple flows and cadences effortlessly. This is no lame rappity rap shyt either. He really is the closet thing we have to Biggie right now. He isn't as versatile as Big but in terms of the ability to rap circles around everyone while being complex and simple at the same time...there's no one on his level doing this.

There's rappers who are more profound, who make bigger hits, who can express emotion better....but purely on some rap craft shyt Pusha has the crown.

Push makes Benny sound like a bot. There's levels to this shyt.
