It shows you don't need to chase hits or that other wack shyt. He stood in his lane now he crosses paths with Dre and never really sold out like that.

I thought I remember reading that when Dehaven got out Jay tried to set him up with some money and a business and Dehaven felt some type of way. That he wanted the money and to do with it what he want instead of Jay setting him up to run a business so he just walked away.

Fun Fact. the only time Dehaven saw Jay since he blew up was on MTV diary. Dude said he heard Jay had a show out of town. Asked his PO for permission to go. He talked to Jay. Dehaven said Jay told him he good and they will talk. Jay curved him because that was the last time they spoke according to Dehaven. That was 22 years ago

There’s a line on No Hook where Jay says “fukk dehaven for caving/that’s why we don’t speak, made men ain’t supposed to make statements”
Sauce Money once said that wasn’t true though. It’s odd that Jay’s tried to put everyone on but him and they were supposed to be close.

Its really 2 things
Dehaven is still cool to this day with the guys that tried to kill jay back in the day ...that verse on all love with drake explains it and dehaven admitted to it
it was odd that dehaven never spoke on it until jay said it in a song
plus when dehaven got out i guess what he thought he feels what he was owed didnt come fast enough and dehaven then made a stream of youtube vids saying he gonna expose jay but he never did
Im guessing he was he was building up to saying jay mom was a hidden lesbian ....and the only other thing was him and jay caught crabs from the same girl
when that didnt work getting jays attention he was calling jay's mom every name in the book
that was the made men not suppose make statements thing came from
and it really hurt dehaven when emory came out to a spot and a lot of money when dehaven is the reason why emory knows jay

My only things is alot of people swear jay is not a good friend ......But my question is if he not a good person the devil a snitch etc....
