I think Kyle thought he was doing him a favor by simplifying it and playing to Lance’s strengths with the runs but I agree, let him play fukking QB.

If Trey's ceiling is the same plays Shanny has been calling for Jimmy/Brock then he'll already be a bust. You don't give up 3 firsts to select a QB at 3 overall so they can play within the most QB-friendly scheme in the league, you give that up for a player who can give you Lamar/Mahomes/Hurts/Allen production inside and outside the system. He needs to be the focal point of the offense and should be getting around 700 rushing yards. If we're saying he can't rush the ball then he needs to be Peyton-smart in terms of orchestrating the game from the field. But Brock has already proven we don't need that to have an elite offense. I'm not seeing the path forward for Trey to prove he was worth the pick on this team.
