You’re right the W and L column doesn’t say almost won or lost but that also doesn’t mean the qb of the winning team is better than the qb of the losing team otherwise Jimmy is better than Aaron Rodgers.

Both have in common that they succeeded in many areas that many other who it’s claimed to be better can’t even reach.
That says a lot about them.
I’m rather have what we have with them than so called greater or better QBs that throw 5000 yards and 50+ TDs but can’t even make it to playoffs or get past the first rd or 2

Jimmy’s 4th quarter performance was atrocious in that Super Bowl including missing an Sanders with a step on the defenders.
Peyton did get destroyed in a super bowl but don’t act like Peyton didn’t have a reputation for choking in the post season until he got it done against the patriots who always had superior teams. The 49er team that Elway ran into was a buzz saw same with Marino. However the difference between them is Elway and Marino and Peyton was asked to carry the offensive production something Kaep and Jimmy weren’t asked to do especially Jimmy.
Also, Elway himself said it didn’t matter what he did until he won that first Super Bowl and Marino still laments never getting one and every one ranks him lower on all time lists because of it.
That’s delusion, I would take Aaron Rodgers over Kaep and Jimmy any Sunday especially with the teams they played on, you put Aaron Rodgers on the niners 2011-2013 or 2019 they win four Super Bowls. I would rather have one ring then none. I get it you are happy to be there we will never agree because I would rather not go to the Super Bowl than lose it.

Jimmy can get you to the super bowl if none of the teams we face in the play offs force him to be a participant meaning do we need him to pass to win otherwise we are screwed. Nick Foles was a better passer than Jimmy.

Has Rodgers under achieved yes, but how many complete teams has he had? He got one where he carried the team to a championship. Can Jimmy say that? How often has Rodgers have a top two defense and the best run game in the nfl? A great example for Rodgers career is most likely John Elway. The moment he got a top tier run game and defense he won back to back championships.
