in Kyle's defense, the absolute worst thing he could do is just let Jimmy go out there and play. Before his ACL tear maybe... only because he was a tad bit more mobile and was willing to run more if things got off schedule, but now Jimmy trusts his arm a little too much. I will say that Sunday I saw some really good things from Jimmy, 1 was his willingness to throw downfield even if he missed and 2 his pocket awareness was REALLY good. He avoided at least 3 sacks by stepping up in the pocket or just taking off when nothing was there. All in all he would be about a C+ but I think a lot of that is rust. Surgery plus no training camp and no pre-season you expect some rust but he genuinely did look good.
