It's not about making punk look credible to me

It's about having a young wrestler in his prime jobbing to a 100 year old part timer who wrestles once a year.

Punk winning would be enormous, what does it do for Taker who we wouldn't see for a year if he even comes back.

Who gives a shyt though, really...

People worry too much about the most irrelevant shyt, what is losing to the Undertaker at WrestleMania gonna do to CM Punk that it didn't do to anyone else who had a match with him at Mania, and people KNEW they weren't gonna win? Nowadays, Undertaker's Mania match is like an event in itself at the event... being the person to have that match with him alone will be a great spot for Punk to be in. That ALONE at this point puts him in a different class than the average heel on the roster. It's more about the match itself than the result.

shyt feels so rushed tho. The build up would have to be really good for a lot of us to be truly excited because if they start the build next week shyt would literally be outta the blue.

Exactly. I think the fact that Punk will be in a match vs Taker, at this point in Taker's career, will do alot for Punk. Also, him being the most credible person on the roster to face taker other than Brock and Cena makes it a no-brainer. If Punk were to go over Taker clean then :win: if not then its still :obama: going forward.

He's already in a different class than the average heel on the roster. Being the dude to break the Streak would be huge for Punk in his quest for respect, both Kayfabe and non. I don't necessarily think they should do it, but it would at least give more meaning to the whole thing, which is otherwise gonna be really rushed and kind of pointless overall. If Taker's gonna finally lose, it should definitely be to Punk over Cena.

Ya, and besides, imagine what he'll say about It in his next DVD or autobiography.

Punk wont beat Taker to end the streak i dont think. If its not gonna be a young star that they can push to the moon then he needs to retire with the streak intact. I know John Cena defintely better not break it.

The sign that says 21 - 1 lights up in the titantron with Cena in the foreground, standing in the ring with Undertaker beaten at his feet.

Cena slowly turns to the camera behind him and the last thing we see before Wrestlemania 30 fades to black to end the program is

It's gonna be odd watching Punk take 5 minute rest spots lying beside :flabbynsick: Taker.

Not just WM30.
On my deathbed, as my life flashes before my eyes, as I contemplate my every action, my regrets and triumphs, my loves and lost loves.
As I accept death's cold embrace, this image will materialize before me. 'See you in hell bro' is what it will say, 'see you in hell bro.'
This face will haunt me through eternity.
