My grandad left Cuba in the 50s right around the revolution time. He was very fluent in spanish. He and 3 of his broads left but the other 3 stayed behind. And too this day they never went back to Haiti. I can assume my dad has Cuban cousins now. I can also assume since my grandfather was the GOAT Playa he probably had Cuban baby mamas and left them behind since that's the rumor my family talk about to this day. 
Same with my grand uncles. But anyway alot of black Cubans have Haitian ancestry.
