In ATL i know yall have a caribbean and african presence there(not NY or MIA, but still there) and yall got africans and caribbeans saying nikka alot and some of them be the same people who come from parents who call Black americans "Akata" and think Black americans are lazy.

Some african parents will think their child is mimicking "Akata"/Black americans if they talk like that saying "nikka".

every city is letting people who shouldn't say it, say it. No one is guilt free

Something he touched on that is key is when he used it outside of NYC being looked crazy, I moved from the east coast 9 years ago to the the Midwest and I can tell you that's 100% true, one of my boys came to visit (pause) we was at the mall the he was saying it (Dominican) and he was getting the look from both black and white people

Imagine applauding a puerto rican for not using an anti-Black term but getting upset that a Black person mentions that he also stopped using the same anti-Black term.

It is truly wild the mind fukk that word has over so many black folks. Like they're so attached to it they can't see the contradictions. I've said it before, but it's not even the use of it itself (which is bad of course). It's how they're so attached to it that they're fighting mad if you even mention the possibility of rethinking using it, or that it may be harmful. That tells you more than anything else the psychological hold it has.

This Puerto Rican dude and all the non black people in NYC and elsewhere who use it wouldn't have started doing it if black folks hadn't given them "permission". Notice all those non black folks aren't going around using "sp@c" "ch!nk" etc. to them, and would likely look at a black person like they were crazy if they called them a slur.

ok, personally i have told my mexican friends and asian ones about it and to not use it to me.

i have spent years telling them not to use it. Now im on "just dont say it to me bruh" vibe.

It gets tiring trying getting in that argument. best thing Black americans can do now, is to draw a line and tell their friends to not say it to them. that can be a good starting point if people want non-black americans to stop saying the N word let alone to themselves.

and i also have african, caribbean friends who do it, and i tell them the same thing. I have had Caribbean ex girlfriends who i told the same thing to. im over trying to dictate what people say. but i stand on the fact no one should be saying except ADOS and i dont let anyone who isnt ados address me as that.

i also only brought up asians and mexicans, because BlackMajik said something on how Nonblacks use the N word and me and him had a little small chat on it.

My take is that I wish Black people would stop using it, but NO non-Black person should be allowed to use it especially as a entertainer. Listening to 90's hip hop you heard "fakkit" all the time. That word is virtually gone from records now because the LGBT crew put their money & resources to stomp it out by saying it was "hate speech".
