Lmao you from up north most likely. Publix is a supermaket chain. That has some of the best sammiches and sweet tea ever. Wawa got some good sammiches too but they're not a grocery store chain.

They pretty much have taken over the Southeast. They are battling Kroger for Supermarket supremacy in my area.

And thats mainly because Krogers are often hit or miss. Some of them are really clean, well stocked, and nice to shoppers, while others give you that treatment when you walk in the door

L.A. I don't think we have full blown kitchens, may be a city mandate? no idea. everything is pre-made and warmed under a light, even premade sushi (i suspect they are frigged, then placed back the next day, then thrown away) they be having dates on them. 24-48 hours then tossed.

we have walmart that has seperate areas that make food, but those are just food chains partnering up. other than that, never seen a full blown restaurant in a supermarket.

1 - Publix was started by a racist white man from Lakeland aka LaKKKeland. He purposely wouldn't put Publix store's in non white neighborhoods and kept prices higher to price out poor(black) people but gave superior customer service so white people didn't care about the money.

2- Publix tries to stay middle ground with anything controversial. Not going to say that they don't pick sides but they don't want people to think they're affiliated with anything but Publix either way. They wouldn't even let my sister's store wear anything that repped a side politically, even on election day. Even though Publix is super conservative.

3 - this is the coli so nothing in 2 matters

Maybe Pathmark and a few others but even so, it’s not known for being good like Publix

No one in NY is trying to have a Pathmark sub for dinner

ahhhh ok we have something similar. a lot of it is pre-made tho. im thinking yall talking about the area where you get the butcher to chop up some meat, they have sub cuts there.

never heard anyone big ups a food 4 less or ralphs pre-made sandwich like that tho. i dont think we have an area that makes sandwiches or wings right on the stop. at least not the branches near my house.

Yes. Same place they give you boars head to take home, they'll make you a sandwich right in front you. It's not a full service butcher like at a meat house, just deli meat

They have Publix in MD. I went to one in Baltimore.

I had their chicken and it was so good.

There are no Publix in Baltimore. The nearest Publix is in Fredericksburg, VA. 2 hours away
