My buddy came over with his PSVR2. I tried it for a few minutes in RE8 VR. Idk if it's because I had PSVR1 but it didn't feel that "new" to me. Cinema mode was not as great as some of the online commentary hyped it out to be. I would not use it over my LG CX OLED. Anyway I only tried the RE Village demo for like 10 minutes, it was a little awkward to set up space to play it but it was scary as fukk. I wouldn't really play that game in VR to be honest.

I didn't try anything else as I didn't have any demos/games to try. I wanted to try Horizon but he ended up leaving before the trial downloaded. I'll wait until there's some killer apps for this as right now it just feels like PSVR 1.5 to me.

Thanks for the review, I never finished resident evil on PSVR 1 cause it was little too much....

the real review is its alright, 99% of vr2 library is on other systems
gt7 is fun but that's about it
horizon for the little while you're shooting with bow and arrows if fun but everything else is annoying

the graphics are ok but not this mind blowing ish they were talking about.

as well being tethered sucks or example my oculus I can go in my basement and say play tennis and actually run from corner to corner because I'm not tethered

Maybe if you’ve had vr before you’re over a lot of this stuff but its like a new world for me. It feels like a bought another gaming system with a whole other library of games I’ve never played before

my first experience with vr was the magic leap (its AR). my mother-inlaw’s husband was working for them a couple years ago and had a test unit, that shyt blew my mind. since then ive tried one of them other vr units sold at like best buy maybe a quest or something and wasnt impressed. im still waitin for something like the magic leap joint to be released on the consumer level, was hoping the psvr2 was close. thinkin bout just coppin the magic leap joint anyway but i aint no developer
