nah. I dont think so. Christmas is coming. Unless Sony magically drop hella ps5's soon. Parents will start to get desperate..The closer christmas I would raise the price.

It will end up going to collections. Best Buy will reverse the transaction with the gift card provider and that company will get your info from Best Buy and come after you.

That story you posted has mistakes. When you are in collections you don't call them and pay, you don't call them and ask who sent them. They paid to have your dept, and if you respond to them you owe them. You don't and you don't. That simple, sounds crazy huh?

Once your shyt reaches collections it's already on your report and paying collections doesn't repair your credit. I would go into more detail but I've quoted a few ppl...

An auction closing for a listed amount doesn't mean someone was paid that much. The typical auction for just the system on eBay isn't ending for anywhere near $1500. It's closer to $1000 and you'll lose at least 13% of that which puts you at $870 and that doesn't include the sales tax on top of the $500.

Its why I sold mine for $900 in person. It's better than what I would have got selling on eBay and locally all the $1000+ systems are still listed.

That being said if someone pays you $2000 for one of these consider yourself lucky. We're talking about greed on top of greed here. That $900 I sold mine for means my PS5 cost me $100 out of pocket which some cash back on my credit card covered. That's more than good enough for me. Not taking the chance that they're selling for $700-$800 closer to Christmas because supply improved.

But are you paying attention to your surroundings? I understand your thoughts, your inner mind. But you gotta read the landscape, Sony told you already they short, so this notion that more systems will be here and plentiful in time for Christmas is just flat out wrong. Again, landscape now take a gander...

definitely but I'd move there Xbox sooner than later because they have more stock than Sony. I didn't see it till today but Walmart had more Xbox's for sale yesterday at 6pm. They sold out again but the point is they are easier to grab so the asking price is lower as long as that's a thing still moving forward...

Police checked my temp and said I can do sell it inside. Spanish cop and a fine ass black sista came out and asked what im selling. He said PS5? i said yea. They both hit the. Let me see. I showed em they was. They was like check the bills and count the money. I had a marker to check on me. They was like dont leave right away.. Ball head black cop came in being nosy. I guess they told him. He was like I can go to the bank and give you 800 right now. I was like nah im good.


Finallay dude pulled up in a black tesla. Told him to come inside. SHowed him the ps5's buddy was . he pulled out the money and watched me count and verify the bills. I saw the police peeping like .Bills checked out and I watched him leave. They came back out on some you good.. Stay for a while and wait. Fine sista like im happy it went well. SPanish cop came back out and said I gotta get my hands on some. He say he woulda bought 4-5. Told me I shoulda held until December and got even more money.

I was nervous headed home though no cap.

Getting a bunch of $850 and $900 .

Let this post above be a lesson in human psychology. This the gaming forum, we discuss this daily at nauseum. Yet he's speaking what the majority here are saying. Why is it an if when Sony made this clear months ago (September) and by early October we learned they'll only make half of their projections. Covid also plays it's role.
