I think it’s best it was a random rollout. Just peep that 3080 thread where everyone knew it was dropping at a specific time and bots scooped them all up in a matter of seconds. That shyt was worse than a SNKRS drop. The randomness of the PS 5 drop at least allowed regular people to stand a chance at grabbing one.

open the flood gates and let everyone cop, but more so their expected delivery date is what adjusts based on when they were able to cop.

Walmart was fukked last night at the preorder launch at 8 and didn't let me check out immediately at 7:59. Luckily I stay persistent by checking the app afterwards and was able to purchase a disc around 8:30 when some preorders popped backed up.

Got one on amazon and one on Walmart. Had to cop one for my nephew.

Yeah I love the way Apple does it. You can even order same courier delivery on certain items.
