"Hey guys, i work for the big red bullseye retail store (US) in the electronics department. I was told some pretty important news regarding launch day for consoles. They are not accepting walk ins on launch day. Rather, what they are doing is at midnight on launch day, they will take online orders for order pick up and drive up. You may have a shot at still getting one launch day but have to do it hours ahead. Please (for this company at least) do not line up expecting to walk in to grab one. I hope this helps."

That’s what always made sense to me in the first place. There’s no reason people should have to to deal with the crowds given COVID and all the technology we have in 2020. Every retailer should have it set up where we can pay in full on the app and go pick it up when the store opens.

Bots are a major problem with online orders but you’d have a much better chance with orders that use in store stock. Just to clarify I meant once the console launches. If you have a bot in LA, you’re not gonna be able to do anything if Target in a random Mississippi city has 5 in stock for in store pickup. Those people near that city have to fight to get one but it’s much better odds when you’re fighting local people rather than everybody in the US and Canada like I had to for weeks to get my order through

Same, cant front though I wanted to cop my lil breh one since he a college student with other expenses to prioritize. My pockets aint hurting so grabbing one for 700/800 wouldnt kill me


Basically just dont wanna leave him high & dry but been able to find dudes selling them

Just would prefer copping 2 for regular price online if I could lol

Yeah for $200-300 more I respect it. I’ll pay that, not a penny more. I hit 4 dudes w those prices on OfferUp and all of them said they have a customer already I set up an alert to let me know when another on e in my price range gets posted.
