The CEO of PlayStation suggested in an interview that PlayStation 5 exclusive games could potentially come to the PlayStation 4 as late as 2022.

...also this might be foreshadowing how long sony thinks it’ll take for PS5s to be readily available for those who want one so they still have to cater to PS4 owners...I forgot who predicted it but that drought to 2022 might be real for those who don’t secure one during launch/holiday season...might need to come to terms with it and just buy an xbox series x

Ps4 we off that. Only reason I didn’t sell it is cause of my backlog. If those games become available on ps5 I’m ditching it

sony stated virtually all PS4 games will work/play on the PS5 except a small list mostly made up of obscure games...also you will be able to download your saves for BC PS4 games onto the PS5 via the cloud...that was my main concern...I’m selling my last PS4 this week...I’m also worried about holding onto it too long and it conks out on me like one of my other PS4s smh

Just read an article that Said 99% if PS4 games are backwards compatible. I'm trading my shyt in at GameStop next week. Hell, even the good games like Ghost of Tsushima don't run at 60fps, I'm getting rid of that too
