On the Wii, Mario Galaxy on a nintendo store might say 4.7gb, but the actual game is only 1.2gb. If you had Wii-flow or USB Loader/etc. When the game is "scrubbed" its only 1.2gb.

Same with Uncharted 2. Liars don't come back to the scene of the crime


In that same store you talking about, COD Black Ops 1 is over 17.8gb
Meanwhile, KZ2 on there only registers as 12gb
Ratchet n Clanks clock in at about 20gb each one.

What kind of ram boost did he expect? Ram becomes more useful if properly targeted and required by whats on screen.
That card was bottlenecked by the gpu not the ram since 2gb would have been a feasible development goal not 4. Adding an advanced alien cpu wouldn't have given a big boost either.
But if you have a machine with 8gb where let's say 2 is reserved for os. You can do whatever you like with the six. Let's say a 3 + 3 split. With that goal you'll create something accordingly. Just because today's pc don't use more than 2gb doesn't mean we won't need it in 2018.

Yea im excited because for the first time in my life I can drop money on a first day purchase with no fukks given. If they both come out right before Christmas, (which is most likely gonna happen), that might pose a problem.
