Really I don't see either doing big numbers. If only 2-5% of Americans even have a 4K tv. I highly doubt these systems gonna come out and do 5 milly

All PS4 games will be upscaled to 1080p and get the extra bells/whistles even if you don't have a 4K set in "pro" mode. It's not a total wash.

But that's me. A tech junkie who always wants the newest and best. Someone posting in a video game forum at a daily rate


I'm more questioning will the common ps4/Xbox player feel the need to go out here and buy it

It depends. If you want the best version of the games right now, even without a 4K set, get a pro.
