Jesus Christ thank you...I'm only on this page so far and have been shaking my head on every page...the specs aren't official first of all...and people are still comparing Xbox ram to the gddr5 mentioned on the PS article...dudes need to be patient.
My bet is on Microsoft to have the upper hand hardware wise simply because they have the money to do it and a service that pays them (Xbox live) on the side. Whatever they over spend on I'm sure Xbox live makes up for it along with software. Not saying Sony is broke or anything but seems like I remember them saying they are not going to go overboard on the hardware this time...at least to the point where they are losing a significant amount of money on each console. I see Microsoft selling their system at a same loss or maybe even more considering the profit momentum from this current gen. I could be wrong but we'll see.
Unless PS makes psn a similar paid service with more features...I just don't see them comming out the gate with clearly better hardware unless there a bigger gap between releases.

I'll correct you. PS3 is more powerful, it's exclusive run laps around 360 exclusives. 360 in lap 1 while PS3 already in lap 3 about to hit the finish line and y'all got shells to throw yet that shyt don't do nothing.

Is there ever any big differences between the consoles? Sure they have some different exclusives which are becoming less and less common, but In reality if you have either one of the consoles you'll be experiencing the best of the next console generation, so everybody should relax and be ready to

I slightly prefer the PS3 simply because of the experiences I've had with it's exclusives that wowed me this gen such as Uncharted 1, 2 and 3, LittleBigplant, MGS4, God of War 3, Heavy Rain etc.
360 I had first and while I had fun with it and still own one, the games that I liked on it were really multiplatform which meant that it wasn't really something that couldn't be found elsewhere. Right now I just stay on the PC and most multiplatform games coming out I'd rather just get on PC because of the things I can do.

ps4 better play mkv and shyt like. seriously.. i don't game that much, but i use my ps3 to watch videos most of the time.
in terms of gaming, i would say that it's pretty much even between the 360 and ps3. it's just ps3 has more exclusives.

same here...used to be an xbox fan boy, never owned a ps3 till about two years ago....ive had to go through 4 xboxs on this fukking gen, till it came to me, that all the games I play are multi plat, except mlb the show, which is ps made title....and I prefer the UC series to anything xbox has for exclusives. next gen im prob going ps4, i could really give a fukk about specs tho...to me, the ps3 is more entertaining of a videogame system to own.

PS3 also has better rpgs for traditional rpg heads. There are more japanese rpgs on ps3 then 360. 360 fans dont care because they are primarily new casual gamers who only play fps's, madden stans or pc heads. PS3 is the global standard for elite gaming.
These people don't really know what they are talking about...its mostly just trolls who argue about BS.
DDR3 is the latest RAM standard on the PC...yet all of a sudden these consoles are going to come out with a new RAM standard? That's why I don't take most people in here seriously.
GDDR5 = GPU ram and BOTH will have that.
