Wii U lacks any significant games atm and the power of the console is hardly anything to be excited about.

Actually the touchscreen in the controller is a dope idea its just that Wii-U has no software that interest me outside of Monster Hunter and Bayonetta 2.

This idea sucks. I could think of very limited scenarios in which the benefit of having a touchscreen on the controller would outweigh the sacrifices in eganomics and comfortability.

having the touchscreen controller doesn't mean it is the only controller option available.
just like wii-u has the pro controller and the game pad/touch screen controllr.

It has a different core, doesn't use the Cell processor so it'll even have to include that in the ps4 or emulate it.
The PS2 ran on the "emotion engine" and that chip was in the launch ps3's.
Sony took that out to save cost they said. But the truth was the emotion engine chip only costed them like $10 at the time.
They could of charged $10extra and everybody would of been happy

In the Business section of The Times today, Hirai said, "Why go first, when your competitors can look at your specifications and come up with something better?"
With Nintendo already out the next-gen blocks with the Wii U, can Sony hold its bottle until the Microsoft announces? Surely his comments are slightly disingenuous, since there would be relatively little scope for changing the specs of the PlayStation this late in its development cycle. It's more likely that the additional time would be use to adjust the messaging surrounding the announcement.
