Why Weigt crying about blowouts like them Run & Shoot teams weren't doing the same thing in the late 80s, same thing these Air Raid teams are doing now. If your offense is based around the pass, you're gonna pass the ball with backups to get reps. Teams don't get sanctioned in real life for running up the score, neither should we. :manny:

You're supposed to be running thats understandable!

Yeah it's understandable, but if you score that TD, it supposedly breaks the rule of scoring a TD when up big, there's a lot of grey areas that can be exposed and the rule favors running teams, cause they can rushes. So anyway it goes, it's gonna favor one side over another.

I throw to keep the D honest and running 3 straight times and punting gets boring quick, so I mix in short passes with my runs or just straight up sim and hope for no injuries.

If I see 8 in the box or a db creepin to the line, I might throw a quick pass to back them off.
When the game is out of hand late in the 4th, you don't need to throw and be strategic... The game is over at that point. It's only like the last few minutes, it's not like you're playing the whole game like that. It's probably 3-4 minutes max if that. Likely a minute or 2 depending on the score.

Still can't justify throwing when you're up 40 or up 21 with 3 minutes to go... boring or not, realism is the key.

You still gonna get sanctioned if you score tho
It is perfectly normal to score if you are running the ball late...

Running the ball and scoring late, then scoring again 30 seconds later is a huge red flag. Barring a turnover, there is no way you should be able to score again that fast and you should be chewing clock.

I dont see an issue with rushing TDs because you are running out the clock. It's the passing TDs that bother me. Starters or bench guys, it's the same act just different people.

I can agree with that, but Air Raid teams and West Coast teams use the short pass as an extension of the run, but with how it is now, I'll have to force myself to rein in things once it gets out of hand
