OkBut most of them are, and act like "good" police officers that never show the bad ones to stay on code.
You live in Kansas? Tornado alleyHere's another example of market fukkery. This house sold about 1 1/2 years ago. It was on the market for about 4 months, the price went down from $850K to $650K before it sold. Now it's back selling for $780K.
I window shop for rural houses so I recognize a lot of them reappearing similar to this one.

ridiculous. is San Jose considered the Bay? if so, that puts the bay at 3 of the priciest cities in the nation. like i said years ago, you gotta work AND sell dope to make it in california. how can you even enjoy life when the only thing you are doing is working to pay bills? You need to earn over $200,000 to afford a typical home in these 8 U.S. cities
The financing cost for a typical home in the U.S. has nearly doubled in the last year.www.cnbc.com
shyt is legit. Home ownership is so skewed toward only the highest earners out here. It’s sad AF that you need to clear damn near half a mil to affordably own a home (30% of income) in SF and a quarter mil for Oakland. Two adults making 100k/yr can’t afford a home, that’s embarrassing for this state/region…then people wanna play dumb as to why I’m always advocating to raise income caps for various programs, 100k isn’t doing shyt out here.
People spending 50-60% of their income on housing is a disaster waiting to happen
my goodness. the only way i would spend that kind of money in kansas is if i was sent there to coach the jayhawksHere's another example of market fukkery. This house sold about 1 1/2 years ago. Got a friend who got a remote job and moved out of the city to get a cheaper house. That might be the reality for people who want bigger houses for their money.Just got into the market myself. Missed out on a home I wanted by an hour. That said, its pissing me off seeing 2021 sales on homes being in the 200ks and now are 400-500k. There is clearly enough money around here that my broke ass will be waiting forever and a day before it sees a price drop. I'm tempted to fold the housing search up and finish my degree. Two years ago, my very same wage would have gotten me a nice 3bdr/2bath. I wasn't ready or making this much. This market timing shyt is real.
Trust, it ain't much better outside the cities in most places. Property that was like 200k a few years back is doubled as wellGot a friend who got a remote job and moved out of the city to get a cheaper house. That might be the reality for people who want bigger houses for their money.
