Girl and I were looking to updgrade to something bigger in San Diego (:sadcam:) but it was a want not a need. I guess we’ll wait and see how much prices can drop.

I work in the mortgage industry and it’s already happening. Originations are completely drying up, cause prices are still insanity high and increasing interest rates have pushed people out.
Did it?

Cause if people were putting offers on houses at a higher price with a low interest rate, then they should have enough for the same house at a lower price with a higher interest rate.

The majority of these houses weren’t being bought by people and now the fake feeding frenzy has dried up.

its pro gong to take until the spring for people to feel like testing the waters again.

Not about the monthly payment to me. You can refinance a high rate, taxes and insurance go up with the sales price.

KC market isn't getting much better. Did see some moderate price dips last few months in my search list, but everything has been stable for a while with a few properties that sold.
