"The Expanse" is the best sci-fi since BSG but...the first season puts a lot of people off the show.

Both shows excellent. Dark matter is more fast paced and fun sci-fi. Beautiful women all throughout the show. Look out for Nyx () in season 2.

Expanse is a more serious show, but definitely the better of the two. As others have said, there's a LOT of exposition that can be off-putting in the first season so a lot of people don't make it through S1 but if you do, man the ride just becomes incredible.

The only good Voyager Q episode was death wish imo.

You know I rarely watch TV anymore but jms is a beast. It has potential to be great. Only thing is I wish we just got another story within the universe instead of a remake. Hopefully this series doesn't kill jms. Look at a picture of him in the start of the babylon 5 series and the end of it. shyt aged the hell out of him.

Imo the last season of voyager should have been them returning to the alpha quadrant and them adjusting to the return.

Yeah they fukked up the last season. Star trek in that era although it was much better they used to lose steam in season 7. Tng ended the series perfectly though. If they had any sense nemesis should have continued the trial to end the movies instead of waiting until star trek Picard.

As for B5, with an improved budget and a studio that won't hamstring JMS, I think we got a winner. Hardly any of the OG cast is even alive, Delenn, G'Kar, Franklin, Garibaldi, Vir, Zack Allen are all dead, so a major reunion could never happen.

As long as the series doesn't go the Picard route and try to become edgy, it should work.

Beats most of current Sci-Fi today more than likely...

I'm interested to see what Straczynski will do but I think B5 would be better served with a prequel or separate related in-universe story. I'll be watching though.
