So they changed the script....

dont believe the woman will be a hooker anymore.

Good episode. The black producer is really about her hustle :ehh:

Shows like this remind me just how hard it is to get movies made. :sadcam:

I watched "The Chair" on demand which featured Ben and Matt's friend/producer from the earlier seasons of Project Greenlight.

The Chair featured two first time directors in a competition to make the best movie of the same script. The reaction they had to seeing the footage for the first time

Ok, the more I watch the show...

she does have a really strong attitude :francis:

Not that its a bad thing cause thats a tough business and being a black woman she has to fight for her own.

She's dealing with a really weird director so I dont blame her. But she also doesnt want any outside influence (from other producers)

Edit: So Peter Farrelly(sp) who made Kingpin, Dumb and Dumber, etc was trying to get the director to see how digital can still look like "film".

So he called her up and told her that he was going to have him see the benefits of it. She was upset that it seemed like they "went behind her back" .. and was pissed at him.

so he decided to quit being a producer :francis:

I dont know if they are editing it like this make more drama or make her appear like a villain. But it wasnt a good look :yeshrug:

Yeah, she came off as been too strong willed, but I don't blame her. This director is a weirdo.

If I were her, I would have just showed up at the video place and confronted the director like :birdman:

The director is weird. But I think that was the wrong time to turn up. The mentor was just trying to convince him that digital can still have the same effects as film. That wasnt stepping on her toes.

She was pissed last episode that he went to go speak to Ben Affleck behind her back. But Ben was going to give up his salary to make sure dude could shoot on film. Maybe its the editing, but she's coming across extremely sensitive.

Then again there are times where she has to compromise too much. So I get it.

She hired a black storyboard artist and a black stunt coordinator

Made sure none of the extras were black people being servants. :leon:

ETA: Hired a black editor as well
