a play on the cac logic that he can't possibly be racist right lol exactly. Don't know how anyone can say they see his point, look at selma as oppose to get on up, you can tell which of these movies about an iconic black figure was directed by a cac and which one was done by a black. Diversity is important in front and behind the camera. Matt like most cacs has the mindset that if you show diversity on screen then you have done your job but why shouldn't we get behind the screen and tell our own stories again?

All Damon had to say was that we collectively should fix the issue with the script and not make sure its portrayed wrong. We cant pick the other finalist because he's like the 5th best director.

Now this particular movie has mostly white characters it just so happens that the lone black character is a prostitute. One of the main characters...but a prostitute
So he shouldnt have knocked her for at least wanting someone who can portray this character where she at least has some humanity and self respect. Instead of full fukkery.
