Before I answer that, let me ask you something. In the last 50 years what have we accomplished as a community besides being able to sit down in a restaurant with next to a white person?

In 1967, 41% of blacks lived below the poverty line. In 2011, that number was 27.6%. Yes, were are still worse off relative to other races but that is a real decrease in suffering for a lot of people. If in 50 years, if it decreases by another 14%, we will have only 13% living below the poverty line which is the current number for Asian Americans. This is real progress that we should not just shrug off. The decrease in poverty affects people's everyday lives in a positive way. It is extremely challenging to overcome generations of blatant structural racism and discrimination (look at black unemployment in South Africa) and yet we have progressed in real terms.

you are trivializing it, facts are facts, and the fact is this 1% figure you are referring to is horrendous and it does point to serious problem specifically with the black community, its not a smear, its a serious a problem that needs to be addressed by black community

I don't care if it's 0.000001 percent. At the end of the day, 7-8 THOUSAND blacks are murdered each year. And that's just murders. The number of blacks injured due to violent crime is probably more like 20-25 thousand.

Some people would like to point that all these problems are due to poverty. But now since you've shown that poverty has DECREASED, and yet the out of wedlock birth rate and murder rate has INCREASED, I mean what else can you conclude?

Just to fill you in here, the out of wedlock birth rate has spiked substantially among other races in the same time frame ( i think for white people its tripled....is this owed to their degenerate culture?), and the murder rate among black people has fallen significantly since the 90s....continue on w/ your bullsht tho.

a lot of the murder rate has fallen because of the high incarceration rate and stop and frisk tactics, and it also coincided with an overall drop in crime across all populations, so even with the decrease, black populations still have a higher percentage of crime and most importantly we have a higher percentage of victims of crimes relative to the general population, even if it is .00001 percent or whatever figure you are peddling

you're a an example of how liberalism and victimology stops black people from addressing core issues, like you seem to be unable to accept the fact that crime is problem in the black community

i get that you mean well but you are inadvertently downplaying the suffering of black crime victims
