They are basically making it easier for cops to put false charges on people. I have seen so many cops instigate situations, now they dont have to say that you did something that would be difficult for the cops to prove. This is completely a case of the cops word versus my word.

Can't watch the video, right now & can't vouch for the legitimacy of the OP @SpeaktotheMods source, but this is a very real issue.

To think, before college; I was offended at the notion that the modern prison industrial complex was slavery...4 yrs later Im writing my thesis on the country profiting off of the poor.

This is exactly why I'm pro-legalize marijuana.

I don't smoke, but, over 2/3 of the male black prison population is over non violent drug offenses.

We could go on and on about the abuses of prison labor, people being transferred between prisons like product--a lot of times far from family, the horrible conditions of these facilities, etc.

It's really some "so demonic" type activity all for money.

It ties in perfectly with all of the new "laws" that are obviously designed to keep prison quotas full so they maintain their funding. The only things making money anymore are the military industrial complex and the prison industrial complex. All the actual industry was shipped out long ago so there are no jobs in that newly formed service economy and those that can actually get those need expensive degrees. Honestly, I don't even want to go there...but isn't it obvious that America is being "restructured" from the inside out to reflect a new reality that's forged from the interests of the Government (big and small) and Big Business. This is just a part of it.
