In a situation like this, its life or death and you only got one man to beat. Granted, someone was probably recording, but if it was just one or two guys, ESPECIALLY if it was only this one guy with the sword. You gotta roll the dice...

You very well could lose because the other guy just needs one fortunate stab to hit any artery and it's over for you...

But it's just one other guy? He gone have to get lucky, fukk all that cowering down shyt. You gotta be able to assess these threats rapidly. If he really wanted me dead, he'd of came and got straight to work when he came in there. So he ain't built like that, you giving me space and moments to gameplan? You shoulda came in this bytch firing because now I'm gonna put you in the position where you BETTER get lucky...

Thats the only way to respond if youre cornered like this. Obviously this is different if you're outnumbered by 3+ people...

I'll also say that a real gunner not doing the theatrics, and the stab motions would be more on target. And if they thought you were a threat they weren't coming in there doing all that talking anyway...

Thankfully I never encountered this. But I shared my "almost" scenario, from May 2008 when I wasn't allowed to go to lunch because me and another guy were gonna get knocked down in the cafeteria...

I didnt know about it beforehand and woulda been caught off guard, there were metal detectors to get in/out of chow but guys could skirt that. I remember telling the police they shoulda let me go to lunch, because if mf's gave me any reaction time, somebody else was having a bad day too even if had the worst/last day. I'll never forget how I felt hearing that information, nikkas got the drop on me...

It's not that easy to get em. Like, there are plenty of em in prisons but they are an amenity, everyone can't just get one, they are expensive too if you aren't clicked up or have the money...

I had one my whole bid, just one...

I do think though, that if you a nikka who plans on engaging and being active in the shyt when you go in, or you know you have enemies, you need to go hard to arm yourself...

You can buy one too. Someone I know was trying get $50 on his books ASAP so he could buy a knife when he went to a local county jail (PICC)
That was the going rate at the time. Buying a knife has it's own risk though cause now word is going to get out that you trying get a knife and it's always the chance you get finessed by the seller since he know you're not armed

Where is PICC?

You can buy one but everyone can't. They are expensive and they are commodities, having the money to buy one doesn't assure you of getting one...

You don't need one if you not trying to be in the mix, though...

Homie got pushed back into the room and immediately cowered on the floor. Why the fukk would you do that? You gotta make the man hit a moving target, the fukk you gonna do on your ass begging for mercy that you can't do on your feet? And he stabbed him up anyway, so the begging for mercy didn't save him...
