When someone calls you names and pretends to know exactly what you are thinking does that make you want to follow their lead?
Even if what he said was true it's bad strategy going forward. You are not endearing the people you need to endear to your side to win next time.
He’s not running. Democratic politicians aren’t saying this, and he isn’t associated with the Democrats.

So it doesn’t matter.

If Trump‘s appointed speaker can call Puerto Rico an island of garbage, and talking about anchor babies because Latinos just pop out babies. A pundit not associated with the democrats can say white people didn’t vote for Kamala because they are racist.

You projecting a lot of your issues on a clip. Sounds like you’re anti intellectual, and mistaking a pundit for a candidate. Also, just to clarify the election had already happened when this video was made.
My exact sentiments. And it’s ironic looking at the message and the people who repped it, given some of their post history.

What?! He is basically calling anyone who didn't vote Dem racist and a liar on a 24 hour news channel but he's not associated?
He can say whatever he wants but look at the scoreboard. That type of rhetoric isn't working.

How hard is it for you to understand he doesn’t work for the Democratic Party.

:hhh:

Listen to me, the Democratic Party does not pay that man or tell him what to say. He is expressing his own opinion. If you want to judge the whole party based on his words you are a biased and looking for an excuse.

At no point does he say “I want to convince white people or anyone to vote democrat.” He is saying why he thinks they voted for Trump.

You are confusing persuasive speech with an analysis. He is giving his analysis. You can disagree with him, but I can’t say this enough…. He doesn’t work for the democrats, so those are his views.

I mean, they're both correct.

As we've seen plenty of times on here, people don't pay attention to politics. This is where hot takes and media presence works in the Republicans' favour. The average person wants to maintain or elevated their status. Can I blame white folks for that? No.

Just know that they may not always be the biggest threat and when it changes how will we be prepared?

What can I say though, Dr. Amos Wilson has been talking about this since the 80s. Latino takeover, birth dirth and lack of preparation by black folk.

So everyone who didn't work for the Republicans or get paid by them but expressed positive opinions on them in the media had no influence? No wonder everyone hates FoX News, Joe Rogan and Elon Musk. Make sense dude.

I think youre missing the point

It was blatantly obvious not to vote for this dude, bottom line. fukk this stupid ass game called “politics”. Any decent human wouldn’t have thought twice to not put this nikka in charge of the worlds most advanced nuclear arsenal. People voted for them because they see themselves in him
He's dumb and loud but powerful....that appeals to mediocre white and Latino men. Rich men love it because Trump is easy to manipulate and influence. He's not politically savvy, so you can get in his inner circle just by azz kissing

FOH with this shyt. The president has a fukking fed case!!

It’s not deeper than that. If Trump was black he would be in prison. If Kamala was a white man she would be president.

Trying to paint Kamala as a bad candidate is plain goofy when she’s running against an 80 year old rapist felon who started an insurrection. You can say she was a bad matchup, but that only reaffirms that this came down to race and gender.

Using the “economy” to vote for a racist fascist rapist is cloak and dagger BS. It just so happens that millions of Americans are also stupid enough to believe the price of goods are going to drop by the dollar as soon as January 20th hits.

You nikkas will never learn.

Like i said, most people are low/no information voters so you have to deal with them as such. Speak to them plainly, simply and repeatedly. You have the detailed information available but you talk to them simply. You see how Trump and Republicans speak to voters, they do that because it works.

You dont say, "Well we had a bi-partisan deal that did this and that......... and it covered these topics...... and the bill that the republicans wanted they stopped supporting because.....) to people, you say "We had a deal to secure the border but these slimy Republicans stopped the bill over politics. They are making the border unsafe, YOU unsafe because they are playing politics. They are trash for doing that.)

Stop expecting people that can't tell you their mayor's name to know the in's and out's of some 50 page plan, speak to them in stark and relatable terms and not college speak.
They did say that. They said "we sent a border bill REPUBLICANS wrote and they voted against it"

You just have to come to terms with the fact that a lot of people are stupid. They operate based on emotions rather than knowledge. When Biden is talking about how he's fixing the economy, people aren't hearing "I've gotten a start on it, and if I'm elected for a second term, you'll see those dividends paying off just like when Obama inherited Bush's economy. Republicans break it, but we fix it"

America has given up on selecting people who are smarter than them. It's an idiot sitting in a plane saying "I don't like this pilot's tone! Hey everyone, I want to fly the plane." And all the passengers cheer and help him take over the pilot's cabin.

Biden didn't get rid of Trump's tariffs because he didn't want to be accused of being weak on China..the country that makes at least 75% of the shyt you can actually afford. So now Trump is not only going to keep those tariffs which made shyt more expensive, he's going to double down.

Unemployment is already rising, but it's going to get higher as the layoffs continue and he speeds that process along by deporting people who were working and paying taxes. The tax revenue will be lower for things like social security, and inflation will continue as these producers raise prices to try and pay tariffs and invest in automation to try and replace the workers they lost. To the extent that they will hire locals, they know they can't work them like they did the foreigners so they'll keep hiring and firing constantly or else they'll have to pay them more than they did for migrants. Guess what that's going to lead to? Even higher prices.

He's cutting taxes on the rich who will not go and spend more money on groceries, clothing, childcare, and other services that keep the economy going. They'll spend that money buying houses, stocks, land, luxury cars, jets, and other things only people in their class can afford and which appreciate in value with age.

There's a lot of hay being made about how democrats can change, but if they ran the exact same campaign with a white man, but Biden didn't win in 2020 and it was Trump who was president when the economy went down the drain, that generic white man would have the numbers Trump does right now. It would be a clear cut victory because they'd blame the current administration for their quality of life downgrading.

I dont think they did it that forcefully, plus you still have the messaging and counter narrative with Sanctuary Cities, illegals taking jobs and the resources given to illegals bussed in by Republicans. But again, having a message of a bi-partisan bill vs "we are going to get them all out, legal or illegal" to simple people hurt or perceived to be hurt by immigration is going to lose.

The issue with the economy is that two things can be true at the same time: The "macro" economy is doing good but the "micro" economy is still bad for a lot of people. I saw so many news articles before the election about the stock market, inflation, low unemployment numbers, etc.... being so good she should win because the economy is on "fire". But none of that shyt matters if people feel they had more money overall in their pocket before Biden and less debt as well.

People for the most part do not care or participate in the stock market (outside of 401k's but that is retirement) and are not directly affected by those metrics, so you have to speak simply and plainly about the issues that they care about. Biden was too weak with his attempt to "combat" price gouging, not only doing nothing concrete or doing it in a way that matters. Not to mention wage stagnation, people trying to get jobs and it is taking forever, people working two or more to pay the bills, rent/housing increases, etc... These are problems the flowery rhetoric on the economy will not take into account.

You take that and add in low/no information voters, when Trump goes "I am going to fix inflation as soon as i am getting into office!" or "i am putting tariffs on China to bring back jobs!" and even "I am going to kick all of these illegals that are taking your jobs and causing so much crime", what do you expect.

Democrats and more well read Democratic voters do not seem to understand how little the average person knows or cares to know about anything. You have to speak to them like they are 5th graders not college graduates. You have to craft your message to speak to them in the way they can understand it: short, simple and sweet. After that you repeat it until that is all they hear and know. You can't expect people that odds are can't tell you their mayor or governor name to read pages or even a page of stats, facts and nuance.

I think you're basically agreeing with the premise that democrats assumed Americans aren't as stupid, self centered and intolerant as they actually are.

She overestimated the kindness and intelligence of the average person. She even said point blank "I will give you a grant to buy your first home, I'll go after price gouging. Inflation is unacceptable"

She said "I am going to secure our border. Crossings are down X percent since we took office and it's going to get even lower!"

She did it all breh. She said it, but the fact of the matter is people blamed Biden for the current economic situation and she was in his cabinet. The stink of his perceived failure was on her and regardless of how much she said she'd help America they didn't trust her because they didn't trust Joe.

Americans are racist, they're stupid, they're self centered, and its hard for them to trust again once that trust has been broken.

So now the focus for democrats will be on building power at the grass roots level. Now that they're the opposition, they'll be watching the failures of Republicans at all levels of government and will be focused on pumping up the anger and hatred that people will have for them. They learned in this election that the respectability shyt is dead and that being aggressive is an asset. There will be anger, there will be HATE and if they want to win, they better lean into those emotions. Trying to appeal to the intelligence of voters is a wasted effort. It's time to appeal to their emotions.

The focus on Democrats is to stop shooting themselves in the foot. The votes to win are there and have always been there, but they seem to love fukking themselves over in spectacular ways.

Shacking up with the Cheneys to get "moderate" Republican votes instead of focusing on proven Democratic voters, allowing Trump to attack her in Michigan with crucial Arab and Muslim votes:

Why would you think campaigning with Liz Cheney would help you do anything but drive away your voters?

She moved away from anti corporate messaging and working class support to being a stooge to business interests:

What needs to be done is Democrats needs to kill this centrist, elitist, corporate mindset then campaign AND govern in a way that will help people truly. But that is not going to happen because Democratic leadership is all of those things. They will take away from this that people are racist, hate women and that they should go even more right then they already are. They are out of touch and will always be out of touch.
