Prince is the reason I have never sampled in any music I ever made.

I've given up on it now but when I wanted to do it I never sampled. Couldn't play shyt except by ear. Started teaching myself guitar but left it with roommates once I had to move abruptly

But dude was a genius and one of my personal inspirations in music. I would never be as good as he was but he made me believe in doing it on your own or even having others that help you do it along the way.
