One thing about Prince's life that I found interesting, is that he loved and supported his hometown and homestate despite reaching mega stardom. He kept his crib in Minnesota, and repped Minnesota sports teams proudly. The amount of talent to come out of Minneapolis/St.Paul because of Prince putting them on, is amazing. Morris Day And The Time, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Vanity 6, etc. Minneapolis has to be one of the funkiest cities per capita. It's funny, because we usually associate Minnesota with Midwest, White-bread Cacitude. But that talent pool in Minneapolis is DEEP.
