Bun B, imo as someone that grew up on UGK, is a shell of himself post Pimp C.

CL Smooth dropped off the planet when he stopped rocking with Pete. And nobody cares about Pete these days.

Q Tip...I don't know about Kamaal to be honest. He had a few hits post ATCQ/Phife.

Has any duo/group really survived after a separation/death?

Or is it just the passage of time?

Justin Timberlake when he left his group and got with Timbo.

Pharrell left the Neptunes.

Jay left Dame behind and Rocafella.

What about Ghostface and Meth post Wu Tang. I mean they still a group technically but they eventually spreaded out and start doing their own work.

I'm trying to think of others, I'll be back later lol.

Times changed among other things

Pete’s best years were 91’ to 95’

Not to say it wasn’t some nice beats post those years that weren’t great (Take Your Time” being one of them) but his best years was during him and C.L.’s run as a duo
