He really nailed Lean on Me. As a teacher (a 4th gen teacher at that), I HATE this movie. It became the Bible of how to treat black children under the guise of "tough love", and it's complete bullshyt. Joe Clark was a Republican darling who was largely hired to tell black people that we ain't shyt - a real Larry Elder type. White people LOVED this guy. That huge blowup with the parents was actually his own staff because he treated them so badly. (Turns out they don't being locked into fire traps.) The test scores never rose, the school wasn't in danger of a takeover at that time (that came later), and he was never arrested. Give me a fukking break.
