For real? 4 nominations for the same show in the same category? Someone who watches this show has to explain to me how and why this should happen.

BTW: Jello, great fukking name, I used to love the Dead Kennedys

The Dead Kennedys were great.

And the only nom Modern Family should have gotten was for Ed O'Neil.

:scusthov: All tough as fukk. I can see Game of Thrones knocking Mad Men off the throne.

Claire Danes should win. Veep or Girls should win best comedy and either Julia or Lena will win best actress. Schmidt needs to win for New Girl. Archer, Louie and Happy Endings were snubbed.

Can't see Bryan Cranston losing it with that Crawl Space scene, or "I am the one who knocks"

I watch the show, it shouldn't happen. No fukking excuse. Other than Ty Burrell the show and the other actors are not THAT good.

Giancarlo and Idris better get their awards. And I'm glad to see New Girl getting some love, even though I think they picked the wrong actor for Best Supporting.

Mad Men and Cranston are locks as they should be. Curb is the best comedy on TV but season eight was a dropoff from 7. But I haven't watched any of those other shows to know if they had better seasons. I think Dinklage had a better performance in season one of GOT. Esposito was strong this past season of BB, but no way he's seeing Aaron Paul. Honestly, Lane was an excellent character this past season of MM, but Paul will probably win.

:mindblown: @ American Horror Story being nominated. It was entertaining, but an Emmy? :upsetfavre: And how is it a miniseries?

Who else should've gotten it. Schmidt was the most consistent, the other cat started off kinda slow and didn't get it rolling til about the middle of the season.

Emmy ain't giving the best Drama award to no Fantasy show. :heh:

They give it to a sci-fi show like Lost I don't see why Game of Thrones can't get it. And I'd take Mad Men over it, I just think if they decide to give it to another show, it's gonna be GoT, something different as hell.

I'd have no problem with Veep or Girls winning over Curb. 30 Rock shouldn't have been nominated, and if Modern Family hasn't improved from the second season where they really dropped off, it shouldn't have been nominated. Happy Endings should be there.

Schmidt was the most consistent, sure, but the character Nick reached a considerably higher peak.

I foresee "Madmen" winning just because it's the safest choice. Fantasy shows ("GoT") don't win....and shows about murderous drug lords ("Breaking Bad") don't win either. Anything non-mainstream or "safe" has no chance of winning anything for Best Drama....look at "The Wire".

Peter Dinklage is good in "GoT" but he's not remotely on the same level as Aaron Paul or Giancarlo Esposito. Some picks are obviously there to fill out the list....just like you'd see Michael C. Hall ("Dexter") and Huge Laurie ("House") alongside Bryan Cranston and John Hamm, knowing damn well have have zero chance of winning.

Fred.

I'm a bit bewildered by the AHS nom too; I thought the only chance they had for an Emmy was Jessica Lange for Best Supporting Actress.
