he actually beat the predator in a way that a woman physically cannot(hoisting a huge-ass log up into the air to eventually drop on the predator). nothing else he did worked.

The point was his Military Unit had all these high advanced weapons and none of that work against The Predator's advanced technology. But after his whole Unit was killed, Dutch used nature (Mud, Wood, Trees, etc). He got the W. Native Americans use Nature to hunt so that's why she's not going to be as easy an opponent as people think. Also after Murtaugh too old for this sh!t (Danny Glover) got the W in Predator 2 with a futuristic 9 MM, all bets are off in this franchise.

Nah, Native Americans used to fukk white people up. If you seen Last of the Mohicans or Revenant that’s was closer to reality. Being a fur trapper in the American west was usually a death sentence. Sooner or later you were going to get caught tortured and scalped.
There is a reason all the big native tribes that are left were usually the warrior tribes like the Lakota, Comanche, and Apache. The US government could never really beat them so they had to make treaties with them and then do some underhanded shyt to them later. The peaceful ones like the Omaha were just eradicated.
Basically what I’m saying is a lot of Native tribes were with the shyts and didnt lose militarily. They either were defeated by disease, forced to surrender because of starvation (the US government would target their food sources aka the buffalo), massive immigration of settlers and targeting of their families that couldn’t easily escape.
The Comanche went toe to toe with the Spanish, Mexican and US governments for nearly 200 years

People think of groups like the Pilgrims coming originally to some untouched land, but when the Pilgrims landed most of the Native Americans were already dead due to diseases that fishermen, fur traders, and explorers had brought to them. Plymouth Rock was a wasteland - Squanto was literally the last survivor of his tribe - and initially they found more graveyards than inhabited villages.
Even the ones that did lose militarily, it was almost always after disease had destroyed their ranks first. If you read the histories then part of the story that most people don't even talk about is that the major groups like the Aztecs were ravaged by disease before the Europeans had a chance against them - and even then the Europeans had to take advantage of succession issues and chaos (often caused by stable leadership having been taken out by the diseases), aligning with weaker groups to take out the strongest ones and then double-crossing those groups later one.
Guns in the 1500s weren't the advantage we think they were. Guns were primitive at that time, they were far less accurate than a skilled archer and they reloaded far slower. They intimidated the Natives at first but they got over it quickly. Steel swords and armor were definitely an advantage, but they could be defeated by superior strategy which the Natives often had. If they hadn't had diseases and if they had understood the full ramifications of European intentions from the beginning, they could have held them off.

And like I said earlier, there's no point for a Predator to just come to a less equipped foe and use his full arsenal. When he went against the Japanese gangster he went sword to sword. So there's the possibility that he's nerfed himself to the competition here as well.
Why post this? You know the quality of the film is completely irrelevant to why 90% of these posters hate it.
