Immigrants will always cry racism or discrimination, no matter where they come from. But the haitians take it to a whole new level.

Another thing is, nobody gives a shyt about your insignificant little island. Maybe 2 or 3 dominicans live in your island and you're just making a huge deal out of it. Imagine of almost 20% of your population was comprised of illegal immigrants??
My "insignificant little island" is one of the richest islands in the entire Caribbean. Try again idiot. :mjlol:

We're NOT talking solely about immigrants but also 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation Dominican citizens. So your point doesn't address what I said before. Nice try shifting goalposts though.

The Constitution says that you're Dominican if you're born there, except for children of diplomats and of immigrants.

That's a fact dating back to 1929.

So even though they were born there they weren't legal citizens.

Please practice your Spanish by reading the Constitution and Tribunal Court decision.

Now..thank God the DR is a great and progressive and open country that they created a path to citizenship for people that legally didn't have one.

A debt of gratitude is also owed to the young lady that sued for her Citizenship rights.

That's how progress happens.

do you always want Dominicans approval?? geeeezzz!!!!

You and your people have no fukking ballz always waiting for a hand out
Bullshyt!

I'm not going to lie, growing up around Haitians, some of them was on some shyt, as far as thinking they were better then AA, but I'm not going to lie, they were hard workers, and the ones who focused on education, FOCUSED ON EDUCATION. Out of all the "foreigners" I grew up with, Haitians, and Jamicans, were not some lazy, hand out people, they worked smarter then everyone else. I don't know where you got that from.

Even in D.R., they worked the sugar cane fields, do you know how much hard work that is? You sound like racists whites calling blacks lazy, even though we did most of the hard labor jobs for hundreds of years, and they didn't do shyt but for a couple of decades. You know it because they are always talking about how hard the early 1900's were.

My god you must be the most mentally challenged person i've ever had the displeasure to discuss with.

DR never gave them papers, they were never dominican. They thought they were, because NGO's convinced them they were, when the Constitutional Court clarified that DR has always given nationality by jus sanguinis, there was a crisis that was created with those haitians that had generations in DR which are a few thousands at most. The regularization process was made to give papers to those who demonstrated that they had solid roots in DR or have lived in DR for way too long. The thing is that most of the haitians living in DR came in the past 5 to 10 years, and don't even know how to speak spanish. We are not gonna take charge of extremely poor people who do not belong here. We are already poor, im sorry but your problems are yours not ours, so fukk off and stop riding our dikk. Why don't you recieve them in your house.. You fukking hypocrite!!

Breh, just admit DR is a racist country and wants nothing to do with the African diaspora...

So none of the ancestors of the citizens of Haitian descent ever became DR citizens? That's what you're making it sound like. And even the children of those immigrants who became DR citizens were still systematically prevented from obtaining their birth certificates.

And the law is still a violation of international human rights laws.

I'm sorry I neglected to write 'illegal or undocumented' in front of immigrant. If a legal/documented resident has kids they're Dominican by birth

We are not racist people, the thing is that we are just not interested in the black cause because it is controversial, full of resentment and closed within their own prejudices. We view black supremacy or afrocentrism as just as bad as white supremacy or eurocentrism.

@midwesthiphop , explain repping this post. :usure:
