Man, you are lost. You know how much money they make because blacks support them?Doesn't matter if blacks stop spending money in our businesses because we support our own anyway. Everybody else's dollars are icing on the cake.
There are very few blacks in the Heights, but like 80 percent of the business are dominican owned and thrive. Now white people moving up there giving us their money. So we gonna be good regardless.
My mother does hair, and saw the whole change. You talking about y'all support each other, but you are forgetting, Dominicans are the poorest Latin group in NYC, this is a fact. And because the do so !any black womens hair, they !are up for the lost in profit they would have if they only did Dominicans hair, because they charge less for the same work done in white, and black shops
I see you don't know how business works, and talking from emotion. It's sad because you are making it hard for the good Dominicans who do know the importance of the black dollar, and want to work with us. Very foolish
