I know some U.S. politicians and high level business owners that go to DR to do dirt, we can all play this game
well i aint republican and i know some dr folks that are good people. but man this is some cold stuff. you just cant do people like that and we know its based on color. i wonder how great could that island be if they banned together. terrible. Shouts out to Christopher Columbus for another bang up job. everywhere that man traveled there was some natives wiped off the planet and slaves/racism to follow for centuries.

Well, one reason why the U.S. and other neighboring states are relatively quiet on this issue (though the U.S. did condemn the D.R. for planning to carry out gross violations of human rights) is because they also want to continue to deport illegal migrant workers. I wonder if those supporting the immigration policies of D.R. will be consistent in their stance when this plays out.

you can actually violate a human's rights by paying them less than your minimum wage for a job they do, just because they are there illegally. that is not what you pay your actual citizens. its how they treat ex cons at times. they dont treat them right because they know no one cares about an ex con so what can he/she do about it. its called taking advantage of people. if you dont do this. the attractiveness of immigrating dies off to some degree.
Haitians are antagonized in Dominican history. I mean the DR did win their independence from Haiti and they do celebrate it. IMO the racism seems to stem from there.
you did not answer my question, an illegal immigrant getting deported because the person broke the law by entering illegally or overstaying their visa or work permit, are their rights violated?
What about the ones who have always been there for more than one generation? Those are the ones who are too getting deported. And when I mean the ones who have been there more than one generation, I mean the ones who also have partial Dominican ancestry.
Who's trolling I brought up poppa doc cause someone asked what can be done to fix the situation and I said Haitian government accountability, no one is asking why tens of thousands of haitians leave Haiti each year and go to a country where they are "hated and persecuted"
And if poppa doc is not relevant neither is Trujillo, this Haitian issue is a immigration one not a self hate one

DR is a Jus Sanguinis country, don't matter how long you been living in a country you are still there illegally if you never established your status --- see the "DREAMERS" in the U.S.
my grandfather was in DR since he was 23 years old and died when he was 96...up to when he died he got his ass up and renewed his residency in DR.
