it would happen to people i love though. my aunts and uncles from my dads side were almost all born here and are full blooded americans, but when my grandparents came here in the 70s they came under false names. my aunt is a damn principal in the suburbs upstate so it would be kind of crazy to see her get deported to DR. i never said i co-sign it, but it is what it is.

the difference is, the US is a world power and DR is a 3rd world country.

How the fukk is the outrage phony when the Dominican Republic has always had racist policies towards their black citizens. This is about as close to ethnic cleansing as you can get without the actual murders of thousands.

Haiti just changed their nationality law i believe and historically both places have changed their nationality laws many times. Again you dont seem very knowledgeable nor are you haitian or dominican so you should sit this one out

if I have to get deported for what ever reason...I'll happily comply because I love my land...

unlike Haitians...they showing up in mass to get their paper work straight at the department of interior cause they hate where they are from but Dominicans are suppose to like it " a la mala"

anyways, Haitians that have their residency status legit don't have to worry about this..or any other immigrant in DR. Once the person shows up to the department of interior with proof of residency, they are giving paperwork to present to immigration authorities to show that they have been vetted.
