Truer words have never been uttered which makes it kind of odd that you are such a defender of Barack Obama who last I checked was a politician too.

Where have I defended Obama as not being a politician?

I have agreed with some of the stuff he's done and I still think he's better than the alternatives. But I never let myself get tricked into thinking he is anything more than a politician.

That's why all y'all are upset, you thought he was gonna step in and change the world. That's not how it works.

The American political cycle is the same every time. One party is in office and the other party is telling you about everything they do wrong. They tell you the other party is out to get you. They don't care about you. And after 4-8 years of hearing that, reading sensational news headlines, and maybe having some setbacks in your own life, you start to believe them. So the supporters of the in power party either jump ship or don't vote and they loose power. The sides switch and we do the same thing for another 8 years. While the people argue over the issues THEY present to us the staus quo is maintained.

Well, regardless of whether the President is Republican or Democrat, he's going to be aware of espionage and counter-espionage activities through briefings. This is why we can't elect third-party people like Green Party, Libertarian, etc. candidates. They don't see or understand the big picture. They'll cut CIA, NSA, military projects and just focus on the environment or whatever. After four years, the security of the nation would be compromised. Mexico would be able to take over Texas or something like that.
Black ops is how the US govt takes care of crap on the down-low. It's been like this for decades.
Obama's response on Leno's show is part of the song and dance. Obama is doing his job right as it pertains to national security, even though I didn't vote for him. He's not going to spill the beans on highly-sensitive information. That would be foolish. Obama didn't have to approve of the operation to put Osama on ice, but he did. If you, if you're American, think he made the wrong decision, then you need to reassess your American citizenship.

When Obama said "You can't change Washington", everyone in Washington knew what he was talking about.
The checks and balances system prevents you from making huge waves. You can make small waves. Too big and you are risking not only yourself but the party you represent. Those in your own party will advise you to back down. Tax the rich heavily? Whoa, back off a bit. Look at how many Democratic senators are rich. Look at how many Democratic party supporters are rich. You can't do that Obama.
