It would have been an issue, short term, sure. But long term it would have afforded them actual protections that real workers have. Since they are literally exploited by these companies by them being independent contractors.

You can’t have things both ways breh, those “additional protections like insurance and benefits” are things these companies could have already been giving drivers.

They won’t get them. It’s all lies.

I mean, look at it this way, the App delivery workers

1. Use their own equipment
2. Get their own customers
3. Make their own hours
4. Don't make any money unless they take on a route

Idk man, sounds exactly like a Independent Contractor to me :yeshrug:. Best they can do in add a base salary to the job contract

get these nets

Above the fray.
You absolute can blame the Dems, they ran a campaign centred solely around ‘Trump is bad’ while actually offering nothing substantial to the maligned.

Nothing for

Healthcare/ police brutality/ environment/global warming/ spiralling education costs/ rent protections, fracking amongst others.

They are purposefully incompetent and entirely complicit should Trump win
?????
Did you read the Dem. Party Platform?

It's an election and individuals made decisions. There's no complicity.
Despite his 4 year track record, and 9 month track record dealing with the pandemic....MFers actually voted for him.
