This is the upside of having a lifetime appointment. Once you get the position, you don't have to care about shyt else besides doing your job and getting that paycheck. They can be impeached but its a really high bar to impeach a supreme court justice.

Trump thinks because he put these people in these positions, they are going to do him a favor. His simple mind doesn't understand that this is the purpose of the lifetime appointments to combat this very issue. Because once they are in, what do they gain to do his bidding? Nothing. They already got a secure job and whether they rule in his favor or not does not change their position one bit. It is not an elected position so they don't have to kiss his ass for votes as politicians do. There is no political benefit to bailing out Trump without justification
