I didn't see this coming. I thought the other elected Republicans would follow order and decorum after Trump lost. Instead many of them played right along and lent credibility to him copping pleas for losing.
What you're seeing out there is a sea of losers. Being a part of something gave meaning to their lives. They won't willingly go back to being nobodies, I guess.
