The RW opinion...

lol

Which is it, the legislatures or the state constitution. They keep flip flopping. PA's republican majority state legislature allowed no-excuse absentee ballot voting. Same with MI, WI, and GA. Then they try to point to the constitution and say it doesn't specify exactly about absentee voting but...who fukking cares. The constitutions give states latitude to administer their elections.

It's utter nonsense. You have to remember, this is all about stroking Trump's ego. I have never seen an entire party bend over backwards to suck one man's dikk. Not just to make him feel better, but because they know he's a rich daddy who doles out power and money to his surrogates. It's a contest to see who can say or do the wildest shyt...and they know Trump is watching at all times. Just watch. January 6th is when the votes are read at congress. I guarantee it'll be a complete disaster of embarrassment and cringe.

This is reckless/sensationalist journalism. The actual Supreme Court isn’t going to hear it or allow it since they are very deferential to States Rights. So a State cannot dictate another States voting process. They deaded that shyt unanimously by refusing to hear the earlier Pennsylvania challenge.

The States joining the Texas AG are filing Amicus Briefs which are only advisory to the deciding court. They have no real legal heft. Damn near any one with a modicum of legal notoriety can file these things, and it’s up to the Texas Supreme Court to weigh whether or not to consider them.

I’m gonna be honest, I’m not good with politics so I don’t understand what a lot of this means. Can someone dumb it down for a nikka?

Certain people want to make a strong showing of public support because they want his voter’s support once he is out. His voters are highly motivated. The writing has been on the wall for this clown, and the power brokers in politics know it. So don’t get too worried about these headlines and news outlets that aren’t doing responsible coverage about the actual legal positions.

Edit: Sorry, I wanted to add that fighting election results in the matter of public opinion is entirely different then fighting it in the Court. The Court is a completely different arena, which is why Trump hasn’t won a single case there. Trump’s legal team hasn’t come with any facts supporting mass voter fraud, so most Courts have thrown out cases because of the lack of these facts. Now, you are always entitled to an appeal. However, Appellate Courts only consider matters of procedure, they don’t redetermine facts. Them kicking it up to the State Supreme Court is a procedural issue, not a factual one. In any event, the US Supreme Court isn’t interested in determining a State’s dispute with another State’s legal electoral process.
